505.515 Mission, Church and Community

This course begins by asking, “Where is God at work in the world?” And asks, “How do we respond to change and the emerging challenges of 21st Century in ways that are intelligent, imaginative, and courageous?” The course examines theological, historical, and cultural aspects of ministry and explores some of the diverse expressions of the gospel in Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond. This course invites us to discover what part in the gospel story we are being called to play.
