115.515 Biblical Theology
This course introduces learners to the biblical metanarrative as the structure of biblical theology and with the Christian gospel as the centre of biblical theology.
215.515 Beginning Theology
This course introduces students to theological reflection, providing opportunities for students to develop basic skills for working with biblical texts and theological ideas and applying those skills in everyday contexts.
This course aims to help students’ spiritual formation, through engagement with Scripture and a variety of Christian spiritual traditions, reflection on their own and others’ foundational experiences, and the development of spiritual practices for life and vocation.
505.515 Mission, Church and Community
This course begins by asking, “Where is God at work in the world?” And asks, “How do we respond to change and the emerging challenges of 21st Century in ways that are intelligent, imaginative, and courageous?” The course examines theological, historical, and cultural aspects of ministry and explores some of the diverse expressions of the gospel in Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond. This course invites us to discover what part in the gospel story we are being called to play.
