It is also an introduction to individual and social ethics, and concepts of justice, virtue and vice. 211.615/715 Theological Ethics Stephen Garner Matareva *		This course is an exegetical and theological study of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters 5–7) in the context of Matthew’s Gospel, and its challenging implications for Christian discipleship in today’s world. The central questions of the course will be: What does the Sermon on the Mount mean? What does it disclose about Jesus Christ?
